Sana is an enthusiastic member of the community who is loved by many. She joined deviantART almost 6 years ago. She's a true inspiration for anyone who wants to be more involved around deviantART. Sana received seniority status in August last year, on top of that she alpha tests for dA over at #devBUG - which means she plays around with new features before Beta testers get to!
Now, on with the questions!

First off, could you give us a brief introduction of yourself?
Well first off, I'm actually Sana :paranoid: I'm a Photographer by morning and a Programmer by night :dummy: I study Computer Science but enjoy trying out all sorts of arts. I'm a bit socially awkward at first, but pretty awesome once you get to know me

We're throwing one panda, one light, one pie up against the incredibly successful Fotolia One Cat, One Fruit, and One Clock Contest. Let's see if our new completely crazed random selection can pull in more than the 10,000 entries we received last time.

Here's the big twist: This time, we're challenging you to use the theme of "plans gone wrong" in
    your image.

You must use one each of the specific pandas, lights, and pies provided in the asset pack and create an image showing "plans gone wrong." Your entry can originate in any medium! These are stock pictures. You can trace them, draw them, photomanipu
SPANK ME! For CharityThis was inspired from a few things. After the birthday I was playing around with my avatar and thought I might create a game involving it but then I thought of *Topicality's recent endeavor and decided to turn it into something for charity instead.
The charity I have selected is LUMOS, which was co-founded by JK Rowling.
My goal is $1,000 USD
This will last until the goal is met or September 16, 2011.

How did you first discover deviantART?
:happybounce: I never knew about the internet until I was about 7 or 8 years old, where I would just play games on there once in a while. When I was about 11, I browsed around the internet a little more often, and ended up reading fanfiction of some movies and TV shows :shrug:. I looked at some of the profiles of authors, and some linked their dA accounts. I browsed around that deviantART for a short time and dismissed it as nothing.
Shortly after turning 13, my English teacher made my class participate in the National Novel Writing Month where I typed my fingers off over 21,000 words and became an active member in the forums. After almost one year, someone posted a thread about deviantART. I visited this wonderful community again, an

deviantART's response regarding Art4Love.comIt recently came to our attention that a website called Art4Love.com was offering prints for sale, some based off of deviations also found on deviantART.com (and perhaps other works by artists not on deviantART).  Art4Love.com is currently offline, but was up long enough to make some artists very understandably upset, as neither the artists (we are told) nor deviantART ever gave permission for Art4Love.com to sell these prints.  
We've been tracking the exchanges of comments and journals about all possible infringing activity and are ready to provide information from our side that would help legal action that any of the affected artists decide to bring.  We will also fully cooperate with any government agency that may become involved because of consumer complaints against this apparently infringing website and the people running it. We would also happily cooperate with any possible fraud investigations.

1. When did you start using dAmn compared to how long you've been on dA?
I started using dAmn summer of 2010 and I started frequenting dA then.

How did you first discover deviantART?
:aww: A long time ago, a friend of mine mentioned that there was an art site, something new and still fresh, and he directed me to deviantART, thinking I could make an account and mingle. I used to spend a lot of time looking through the backgrounds, and the anime/manga, but I didn't settle in to an account name for good until a few years ago.
What was it about dA that made you want to stay?
:aww: The community, for sure. A lot of people complain, a lot of people think there isn't a proper one, but you just need to surround yourself with people you want to be around. I've met so many people on deviantART who are brilliant, sweet and talented, people I will never forget. I'm glad I took the time to develop a relationship with the community when I first came, and I'm glad I continued to cultivate it in the years since.

How did you first discover deviantART?
:spank: I was looking at art online when I was young, and saw `loish's work, it eventually led me to deviantART. I lurked for a while, then eventually joined!
What was it about dA that made you want to stay?
:spank: I wanted to post my artwork... however once I discovered chats, I learned about GMs (now CV's) and Daily Deviation suggesting. I had and continue to have the loving support that keeps me here, along with my ability to find and collect beautiful artwork- Tis it is all about the art!

What is the story behind your username?
:spank: At one point I wanted to do debate in high school, but I've gone off to do other things. I was thinking of good user names and was playing with a random word generator. It came up with the word Topicality, a word I remembered was used in debate. It's used in debate when one is g

I'm not the only one on DA which has been stolen. In fact, lots of artists have been affected by this.

Massive Art Theft From dA and FA Artists

I felt this was important enough to make an article out of. This is something I received through Tumblr and dutifully passed along. I am trying to spread the word about this massive theft case.

They are stealing artworks from all over DeviantArt and FurAffinity, then posting them as “paintings on canvas” with huge price tags. Please please check to see if anything of your’s has been taken, and file a DMCA with the site’s host.

Please pass this on so we can get this disgusting thing shut down.

Yes it is- it's pretty much the same as DA just more "furry" oriented. They track down thefts and such like DA does, and because of the smaller community- some artists even think it's better. Me personally, I'm just to lazy to be active on it, lol. ;]
